For any reservation of a Kitesurfing, Kitefoil or Wingfoil course, you can make a reservation without payment.
If you wish to pay on site, you can do so by Check, Cash, LYDIA or Chèque Vacances.
SCHEDULES / COURSE OF LESSONS:
Classes can take place between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Lessons can take place between Le Vauclin and Macabou - (Spots Accessible by boat)
Some courses with Confirmed Audiences may take place elsewhere, on the entire east coast of Martinique.
The departure time will be communicated to you when the weather forecast is sufficiently reliable to predict it, but in general the morning course takes place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
You are going to practice a “Weather-dependent” sport, the departure times can therefore be brought and changed at the last moment.
The instructor is the only competent person able to decide on the course of the session , the choice of times, the organization of the sessions, as well as the material resources to be put in place , for example: towed board, theoretical lessons or cancellation at due to the wind, the state of the sea or the dangerous nature of the aerology (thunderstorms).
In the event of unfavorable weather, an alternative activity may be offered to you.
In case of cancellation, the lessons will be postponed depending on the availability of each.
Each group lesson (2 people) lasts 3 hours.
If the course is carried out with less than 2 people, the duration of the course may be reduced. (Quicker installation)
A 3-hour session includes: Welcome, Equipment (dressing and undressing the trainee), choice of equipment + loading the boat, travel to the site and return to the starting point.
Gift Vouchers must be paid for in full before being issued.
Please provide a means of payment - Checks, Cash, LYDIA or Chèques Vacances during your course.
YOUNG AUDIENCE / RESTRICTIONS:
At Martinique Kiteschool, we are specialized in the supervision of young audiences.
We did not fix minimum age for learning to kite, however, we recommend a minimum weight of 40 kg.
Child under 12 years old, or less than 45 kg:
This type of audience requires special attention, and in order to be able to practice in optimal safety conditions for your children, these lessons must be carried out in private or semi-private lessons, and with suitable weather conditions.
It is of course essential to be perfectly comfortable in the aquatic environment before embarking on learning kitesurfing.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation by you:
We ask you to let us know at least 24 hours in advance to be able to reorganize our schedule and allow other people to come and practice (especially during peak periods, December to March)
If a person cancels their lessons too often and too late (less than 24 hours in advance and at least twice) the school will ask for full payment for the course at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellation by us:
In the event of cancellation on our part for meteorological reasons, the lessons will be postponed depending on the availability of each.
These conditions can be relaxed depending on the situation, the final decision resting with the manager of the Martinique Kiteschool school.
REFUNDS:
Usually the course payment is made at the end of the course.
However, if you had paid in advance, and your course could not be taken for various reasons, you will benefit from a postponement of it valid for 1 year.
In some cases, a refund may be made, in whole or in part, the decision being made by the manager of the Martinique Kiteschool school.
EQUIPMENT :
The price of Kitesurfing, Kitefoil and Wingfoil lessons includes the following equipment:
Wing (s) / Board (s) / Harness / Flotation vest / slippers / Helmet (+ radio)
However for your convenience you can bring:
Your own:
Wetsuit, neoprene or lycra top
Slippers
Sunglasses (low value glasses, fitted with a lanyard)
Solar cream
Bottle of water
INSURANCE / LICENSES:
The FFVL license (French Federation of Free Flight) is compulsory for each person who will receive a service at Martinique Kiteschool.
Subscription to an FFVL license is therefore compulsory, and is not included in the course price.
It will be subscribed by the administrative manager of the structure or by yourself (proof will be requested) before the start of your courses.
The price of the chosen license will be added to the price of your internship.
RENTALS:
The Lessor certifies not presenting any contraindication to the practice of Kitesurfing, certifies having the technical capacities to use the rented equipment and assumes the responsibilities induced by this sport.
The Lessor releases Martinique Kiteschool from any liability in the event of material or bodily damage caused to itself or to others during the use of the rented equipment.
In the event of a delay in the return of the equipment, a supplement will be charged corresponding to the duration of the delay.
Responsibility of the tenant :
During the rental period, the tenant is responsible for the rented equipment in his custody (art.1383 and 1384 of the Civil Code) with regard to damage / theft of the equipment as well as damage caused to third parties.
Consequently, in the event of partial or total theft of the equipment, damage or degradation, the tenant must pay Martinique Kiteschool the invoice for the equipment if not repairable, or the repair invoice if repairable, according to the expertise of Martinique Kiteschool. .
The tenant disclaims all liability of the lessor Martinique Kiteschool during his practice of the activity; in the event of bodily injury suffered by the tenant during his independent practice, the Martinique Kiteschool school cannot be held responsible for any responsibility.
In the event of bodily injury or material damage caused to third parties, the tenant must declare this loss to his civil liability insurer.
For any dispute, only the court will be competent.
For any rental of a pack equipment (kite, board, bar), a deposit of 1500 € will be required
(check or cash not cashed).
IMAGE RIGHTS:
You authorize the dissemination and publication for educational and / or promotional purposes of photos and videos in which you may appear as part of your lessons at Martinique Kiteschool.
You authorize the taking of photographs and videos representing you in the context of learning to kitesurf or other within Martinique Kiteschool as well as their distribution and publications for educational and / or promotional purposes.
If you do not want your image to be used by Martinique Kiteschool, you just need to mention it to your instructor.
DISPUTES:
